Born from an awakening while watching the documentary film “Miss Representation”, See Magazine is dedicated to portraying girls and women in their true light, and seeking and end to mass media’s damaging distortion of the feminine form and spirit.
Founded October, 2011, the premiere issue will release digitally on January, 2011.
Born in New York, I’ve lived in Los Angeles for more than half my life. I’ve always had an interest in the creative and have considered myself entrepreneurial since I was a 12 year old girl pulling in $300+ a month from a fan club I ran for my favorite boy band at the time.
Since then I have run a short-lived but extremely personally fulfilling online magazine called “Bella”, to promote improved body image; a jewelry line designed to harness the empowering healing of natural gemstones; and have worked in online community and social media for a variety of websites. See Magazine is my latest venture, and I am so excited at the prospect of helping girls and women see themselves for the magnificent beings they really are, and at making a positive impact toward minimizing limiting and damaging representations of females in media.
